Thesis Statement:

In My life” is a web-based personal life achieving/search software for personal life. By automatically collecting the information online and pairing it with Geo-location tracking, Users can look back at their life in a simple, automatic, organized and searchable manner.

User scenario

Kitty is a 26 years old student who graduate from NYU in 2008. She has been broadcasting her life on facebook , twitter and social network just like other students. Yesterday, she was trying to recall her memory about her life when she was writing her thesis. She couldn’t remember much about it since it has been a while and she has been through a lot after she began to work in SOHO as a web developer. Therefore, she tried to search from google to see if she can find anything related to her thesis project and life.



The result is not as good as she thought . It went terribly useless. Since Google it’s a public search engine, it’s only good for searching some public information instead of some private personal information about her past.

One of her friend is in Parsons DT program and was telling her how powerful a life archiving software “in my life” can archive and search her life easily.



Kitty went on the site and authorized the site with right to access all her social networking and sharing site, and she typed “thesis” in the search bar.



WOW, it actually work. Not only she is pulling all the information related to thesis she shared on the internet, but all the information also is organized by fuzzy matching geo-location and time period. All the memory she had while she was writing the thesis slowly came back to her head like a diary. She realized she spend a lot of time in union square at that time, and she still go to union square regularly recently. Therefore, she refine her search with Gro-location with a google map.



She typed “union square” and search, A list of the things she did in union square display according to the drop pin where he placed, and it’s sorted with the time, So she can look back at her life in union square easily. That might take a long long time if she search all the content she shared before. Life is beautiful with a tool to help she look back at her life. She learn from the mistake and always enjoy the sweet memory.
